Housing
Looking for a place to live?
Be sure to apply to all student housing companies in Linköping or Norrköping:
Studentbostäder i Linköping AB
Byggvesta Bo AB (Linköping)
K2A (Linköping)
Heimstaden (Linköping)
Victoriahem (Linköping)
ere you can find more landlords and tools to help you search for housing:
KOMBO – Student Tenants' Association
You can also contact KOMBO – Here, it is mainly private landlords who advertise available housing, and KOMBO also operates a roommate matching service. In addition, they arrange emergency housing for newly arrived students at the start of the fall semester.
Kårservice holds the right to negotiate with Studentbostäder i Linköping AB, ByggVesta Studentbostäder, and Studentbo i Norrköping AB. This means that KOMBO (and not the traditional Tenants’ Association) negotiates rents, student input on housing matters, and other issues regarding student housing in both locations.
Free help
You don’t even need to live in student housing to get help. KOMBO doesn’t charge any monthly fees that you have to pay upfront before you can get help from them; instead, KOMBO’s services are included in the services that the student unions provide to students. All you need to do is be a student to get help and support from KOMBO or take advantage of the services we offer.
Are you having problems with your housing (lease, landlord, etc.)? Contact KOMBO at bomb@karservice.se.
Don't forget to register with the population registry!
If you’re moving to study at a university or college, you must be registered in the population register at your place of study. The general rule is that you must be registered where you live—that is, where you spend most of your nights.
With an e-ID, you can use the Swedish Tax Agency’s online service to report your change of address quickly and easily. Learn more and report your change of address on the Swedish Tax Agency’s website: www.skatteverket.se/studentflytt
